Jake MarkhamSenior Process Development Manager

Jake, Senior Process Development Manager, brings 25 years of extensive engineering experience in themedical device industry. He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Minnesota, later joining Heraeus Medevio in 2004 through the acquisition of Vadnais Technologies. Since then, Jake has excelled at various engineering roles, focusing on R&D, product, and process development. Today, he leads the Process Development Engineering team, where his breadth of expertise has been pivotal in overcoming technical challenges and helping customers bring medical devices to market faster.

Tom SladekApplications Manager, Components + Assemblies

Tom is an expert in clinical applications, design fundamentals, and processing technologies. With a background and education in engineering, he previously worked in the regulatory industry as a quality engineer and machine shop manager before transitioning to the medical device industry in 2021. Tom joined Heraeus Medevio as a process engineer in the grinding area, later transitioning to the Applications Management team, where he overcomes complex challenges and provides customers with innovative solutions.

Corey DowdleGlobal Head of Business Development

Corey, a thought leader and expert with over ten years of experience in the medical device industry, joined Heraeus Medevio in 2018 as Global Account Manager. He studied chemistry at North Dakota State University and has gained a breadth of experience in the field, from antimicrobial coatings to complex components. In 2022, he became Global Head of Business Development, focusing on building partnerships to deliver high-value solutions across the neurovascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology interventional markets.
